HOW IT STARTED...

While serving as a community resource specialist for Delaware 2-1-1 which is a referral service connecting Delawareans to statewide resources, I experienced the needs of the community firsthand which prompted me to start The Charity Bag and serve the community on a personal level.

WHO ARE WE...​

The Charity Bag, a 501(c)(3) organization is a community outreach ministry who desires to serve others as we can based on community support and donation of items.

The Charity Bag has served the community by way of community events such as coat giveaways, baby on board, coloring books, community resources, financial workshops,
school supplies, books, blankets, socks, children's painting and story time events, etc.

The Charity Bag has also worked closely with other local ministries, schools and organizations providing them with donations to help further their cause and meet the needs of families.
